Ron Bechtel Weddings

Hi, I’m Ron Bechtel and I believe that an important part of having a great wedding ceremony is having a great relationship between the Bride and Groom and the Officiant.  That is why I spend time to get to know you and for you to know me.

I grew up in Taiwan and in the Midwest where I also attended Hope College in Holland Michigan.  I received my Masters of Divinity at Princeton Seminary and did graduate work at Columbia University.  For 15 years I was a pastor in Queens, New York City in the most ethnically diverse neighborhood in the world.  I have had experience with many different styles of weddings.

  In 2005 we moved to Bellingham. I have been married to Maya for 22 years and I have two great children – Karianne and Brant.
